Glass thirds, pint glasses, handmade tumblers. These are typical handmade Czech glass blown in our glass studio. Soda-potash glass, has a great shine and beautiful sound. Pillars, shakers, tuplas can be decorated by engraving, painting, firing decal, sandblasting, tin plaque, tin decoration or fitted with a tin lid. Czech glass is known in the world as Bohemia glass. Forest glass is usually tinted a shade of green with iron oxide. In the Czech glassmaking industry, the production of forest glass achieved fame in the 14th century. The beginnings of the forest glassworks were difficult. The method of melting was very primitive in the earliest times. The glass obtained was greenish, impure and full of blisters. The volume of our pints, thirds and tumblers is larger than stated.
