Glass with optics forest glass

Glass historicizing cups (Roemer – Roman), goblets, casts, decorated pourers, for wine, water, handmade glasses. These are typical handmade Czech glass blown in our glass studio. Soda-potash glass, has a great shine and beautiful sound. Czech glass is known in the world as Bohemia glass. Forest glass is usually tinted a shade of green with iron oxide. In the Czech glassmaking industry, the production of forest glass achieved fame in the 14th century. The beginnings of the forest glassworks were difficult. The method of melting was very primitive in the earliest times. The glass obtained was greenish, impure and full of blisters.
